I love these photos. It’s so damn interesting to see how lived our ancestors ;)
Edit: Many of you wrote that these pics were not from 1960's. I didn't find these same photos anywhere else other than the source where it was noted "60's." But we changed the title though.

The week continues and we are already on Wednesday. I love this day because it’s only one day before Friday.
Don’t forget about summer and summer vacations or you can miss all the warm days passing time in front of your computer, like I do ;)

Very sad story happened not far from Vancouver, Canada.
The Sapphire Princess hit the 70ft fin whale in the ocean off Alaska.
It was not discovered until the 116,000-ton ship docked. It is not known whether the whale was already dead when it was hit.
A little glimpse into a Borneo’s “Sea gypsies” simple life. More and more of them have been moving onshore to live. Some of them are keeping up their nomadic style of life without a fresh water supply and electricity. They are only going ashore to bury the dead. Clickable.
A French photographer has captured a stunning photo of the space shuttle Endeavor docked with the International Space Station crossing the face of the sun. The photographer Thierry Legault, who is known for his amazing astronomical imagery, uses specialized solar filters to capture the images. [WIRED]
